Pauline Potter’s Incredible Weight Loss Journey
Pauline Potter once held the Guinness World Record in 2012 as the world’s heaviest living woman, weighing 50 stone (over 700 pounds). She deliberately gained weight with a shocking daily breakfast of six scrambled eggs, half a pound of bacon, four hash browns, six slices of buttered bread, and an ice cream milkshake to earn the title.

A member of the “Supersize Big Beautiful Women” group, Pauline believed that bigger was more beautiful. However, the daily struggle with basic hygiene and health issues, including needing help to apply corn starch to avoid infections, pushed her to change.
She joined the show My 600-lb Life and worked with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan (Dr. Now). Although she initially resisted the strict 1,200-calorie diet and almost gave up, Pauline eventually lost over 300 pounds, qualified for surgery, and continued her transformation.

By January 2023, she had lost over 520 pounds and embraced a healthier lifestyle in California. Dr. Now praised her on Instagram, highlighting her commitment and hard work.
Though she hasn’t posted on social media since early 2023, Pauline’s transformation remains a powerful example of determination and change.
